The Emirates is the largest Airline in the
Middle East and it started its service in the year 1985. The
Airline strictly maintains its high standards of service and is
quite popular among people. Currently it owns 190 aircrafts and
operates flights to almost 70 countries and 120 cities spanning six
continents. They offer low air fare tickets and a range of on board
entertainment facilities to their guests. Aviation Consultancy
group Skytrax rated Emirates as a four star airline and they were

Baggage Allowance
The Emirates has one of the most relaxed baggage policies. An Economy Class traveller can check-in 30kg of baggage; Business Class guests can check-in 40kgs and First Class passengers are allowed 50kgs. There are some exceptions to these values when travelling to USA, Brazil and Canada. As far as hand luggage is concerned, Business and First Class travellers can carry 2 bags weighing not more than 12kgs and Economy class can carry the same amount but the weight limited to 7kgs. Rates for excess baggage depends on the destination you’re travelling to and it is recommended that you purchase it online, before hand and avoid paying extra while checking in. Emirates offer 15% discount when you purchase extra allowance online.
