Lufthansa’s Baggage policy mostly depends upon the flight and your destination. As a First Class passenger, you’ll be allowed to carry 40kg of free checked baggage. The weight reduces to 30kg for Business Class travellers and 20kg for Economy Class passengers. There Cabin luggage allowance also differs according to the Class. For First and Business Class travellers, 2 bags are allowed (not weighing more than 8 kgs each), and Economy Class passengers are allowed to carry just one. The carry bags dimensions should not exceed (55 x 40 x 20) cms, with the exception of foldable garment bags, which can have a maximum size of (57 x 54 x 15) cms. Rates for excess baggage depends on the destination you’re travelling to and it is recommended that you purchase it online, before hand and avoid paying extra while checking in.
